WCC Names New Chairman, Board of Trustees, and Corporators for 2007-2008
WCC Names New Chairman, Board of Trustees, and Corporators for 2007-2008 The Whitin Community Center announced that Matthew Salmon, VP of Programs, Quality and Innovation for the Salmon Family of Services, has been named the 2007-2008 chairman of its board of trustees. Mr. Salmon assumed the chairmanship February 26th at the Center's Annual Meeting.
"We are very excited to have Matt serve as our chairman," said Charles Thompson, executive director of the Whitin Community Center. "He will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Center."
At the annual meeting, the 2007-2008 slate of officers and incoming trustees and corporators was also formally elected. The new officers are: Chairman: Matthew Salmon, VP of Programs, Quality and Innovation , Salmon Family of Services; Vice Chairman: Susan VanderZicht, Owner, VanderZicht Real Estate; Clerk: Sharon Morrow, Sr Commercial Lines Underwriter, Harleysville Insurance Co.; and Treasurer: Gary Sacon, CFO, Salmon Family of Services. The trustees include: Norman Gadoury, Wallcoverings Unlimited; Martin Green, Eastwood Group Real Estate; Jerome Jussaume, R.C. Diocese of Worcester; Rob Knapik, Attorney at Law; Denis LaTour, Town and Country Builders; Gary Moyer, Architect; Kenneth Redding Jr., UniBank; Dennis Rice, Alternatives; William Smith, WB Smith Companies; Catherine Stark, Dental Hygienist; and William Stark, Express Personnel Services, Inc.
