Tanglewood in Whitin Park
Saturday, September 11th, 4:30-7:00 pm, Rain or Shine/Park or Gym. Bring a blanket or chair and dance to the sounds of Big Band Music by the Point 'n' Swing Band. If the event is held in the park, there will be a bubble machine, percussion instruments for the kids to play along, and face painting. Tickets:$10/Adult, $20/Family and $8/Seniors. Beer, Wine, Soda, Water and snacks available. Great event to celebrate Grandparents Day with those you love!
Healthy Living Expo

UniBank 10thAnnual Greenway Challenge
Athletic Triathlon of the Blackstone Valley
Saturday, September 25 th. The UniBank Greenway Challenge is a multi-sport event open to participant’s ages sixteen and older and suitable for teams and single athletes alike. Each year the course includes new segment combinations of cycling, running, kayaking and, most recently, mountain biking.

The 21st Annual Whitin Five-Mile Race & Two-Mile Health Walk

Whitin Community Center is a private, non-profit, community based, organization serving the Blackstone Valley since 1922.
The Whitin Community Center is the Blackstone Valley's most complete family fitness and recreation center.
At Whitin Community Center we provide programs for every member of your family. From swim lessons, splash parties, and even roller skating for the kids, to floor and water aerobics, strength and cardio equipment, and personal training for adults, we do it all! Join in the fun and competition of an adult or children's basketball league. Challenge your best friend to a racquetball or tennis match, or relax, stretch, and de-stress in a yoga or pilates class.
Whitin Community Center is also home to the most complete child care center in the valley with state certified programs for pre-kindergarten and elementary-aged children.
Membership and participation is open to all.
